Wrong line types?

There are so many different types of lines, often a nice mix on the same sail, that I wouldn’t blame a particular type like Nicolas Brenneur does.

For me, it’s moving and needs to be corrected. That’s all.

Manufacturers have to make complicated choices, of resistance, diameter, weight to optimize performance, lightness, production cost… while passing approvals! Their choices are not the same according to the models and the times!

All paragliding brands are supplied by the same line manufacturers (Liros, Edelrid, Cousin, Teijin…) and there are no notable differences for us, except that we do not like Dyneema very much when it is used for long lines because of its greater elasticity than aramid fibers (Kevlar).
